About me

Who I am & what I do
I have been playing games all my life, starting on the consoles my parents gave me such as a DS or Wii and quickly moving to PC where I still frequently play with my friends in a variety of genres such as hero shooters, strategy or sandbox games. I also spend my time both playing and coaching my most played game, Overwatch, at an amateur level. When away from video games, I spend time cycling, often to go play Poole or a board game cafe with friends.
With games such an important aspect of my life, I have always been curious about the building blocks that shape Games systems. I have always been creating games, from messing with blocks to coding, designing and creating my own games both within education and for my own curiosity.
My current goal is to expand my knowledge after graduation from University, picking up new programming languages & gaining more familiarity with different game engines. I have also been experimenting with a large variety of genres within games from RTS (Real Time Strategies) to platformers and even different mediums such as Board Games.

Experience & Education

DDM | Distinction, Distinction, Merit
Video Games (Level 3)
My first introduction to creating Video Games, learning to code C# & in Unity. Was also a time for experimentation, with all aspects of the industry taught within the 1st year including:
3D Modelling
Digital & Traditional Art
Story Telling & Structures
Unity Programming
Networking & Digital connections
This eventually had me settle into a Designer role with expertise to Programme within Unity.
University of Portsmouth
2023 - 2026

First Class Honours
Ba (Hons) Computer Games Design
While the 1st Year started similar, allowing for experimentation in all fields before specialising. I focused more on Programming and Design, leaning into learning skills such as Procedural Terrain Generation, UI/UX Design & Systems Design.
This was done within multiple projects such as Tile Editor & Planet Generator for Procedural Gen, Climate Controller & Breadet Hell for UI Design and Terraformable for System Design.
Preparing for the Industry was also a big step, with multiple projects situated to help teach key skills such as pitching and working with a client. This gave plenty of opportunities to experience working with confines and taking leaderships roles through out the 3 years I studied.
